How Can Corporations and Businesses Help?

Tremendous support has come from the private sector since the SPARK program began in 1983. Citizens show support by providing funding, supplying volunteers for tree planting & landscaping, working on public art projects, helping with fundraising activities, and seeking resources such as design services, landscaping and artists. Corporate Sponsors provide $5,000+ for each park. They participate in groundbreaking and dedication ceremonies, and often provide volunteers for tree plantings and other activities at the school.

The SPARK program and SPARK schools appreciate the commitment these sponsors have made to the community.

The participation and cooperation of the schools, school districts, city & county government, corporate sponsors and involved citizens is what truly sets this program apart.
